Niseko Tuk Tuk

Plan Your Stay at Hakuba Gateway Hotel

Niseko just got a little more exciting this summer with the arrival of Niseko Tuk Tuk!

Brought to life through a collaboration between the Niseko Tourism Organization and Hokkaido Lion Adventure, this charming new service gives locals and visitors a fresh, fun, and eco-friendly way to explore the area

What is Niseko Tuk Tuk?
Think of it as your mini summer cruiser—a 3-wheeled electric vehicle that seats up to 3 people. It may look small, but it packs a punch! With a full charge, the Tuk Tuk can cruise up to 40 km at a top speed of 40 km/h. That’s more than enough for a scenic trip around Niseko’s iconic summer sights.

Where Can You Go?
While it’s not allowed on Hokkaido’s Route 4 or other major highways, the Tuk Tuk is perfect for slow and scenic exploring. Some fun ideas for your ride:
Takahashi Farm for ice cream and cheese
Niseko Distillery for a peek at locally crafted spirits
Ostrich Farm for a quirky visit with some big birds
Just remember to stay on local roads and ride safely!

How Much Does It Cost?
Right now, Niseko Tuk Tuk is open for test drives, but if you’re keen to rent one for longer, it’s available for only ¥3,000 for 3 hours. Insurance isn’t included but can be added as an optional extra.

Why Try It?
It’s eco-friendly
It’s super cute
It’s a new way to experience Niseko’s summer charm

Whether you’re a local looking to try something new or a traveler seeking the perfect Instagrammable ride, Niseko Tuk Tuk is a must-do this season.
